Welcome to Borehamwood Brass
Borehamwood Brass is based in the town of Borehamwood in Hertfordshire although most of our players come from surrounding areas. You don't have to live in Borehamwood to join!
About the band
The band performs throughout the year but mostly of our engagements are in the June/ July and Christmas seasons.
Last summer's events included a concert for the Elstree Festival and fundraising for the NSPCC at Schopwick Place.
We have a wide selection of music which has been acquired over many years. Our library includes many of the classic brass band pieces as well as 'pop', film and TV themes, and many solo pieces.
We rehearse on a Friday between 8pm and 10pm at Holy Cross church hall in Balmoral Drive, Borehamwood and welcome current and returning players. See Making Music for more on the standard required to join, the music we play, and directions to the rehearsal room.
